No. WedWager runs entirely in a mobile browser. Guests scan a QR code or tap a link — they're in within seconds. No App Store, no Google Play, no account creation required.
Purchase WedWager for $29 via the checkout link. After payment, you'll be taken directly to the event creation screen. Enter your event name, choose a join code (e.g. SMITH2025), and add your email. That's it — your event is live.
Most couples are set up in under 5 minutes. Markets can be added at any time before or during the event.
Guests visit app.wedwager.com/join and enter the event code, or they can scan a QR code you display at the venue. They type their name and start betting immediately — no password, no email, no account.
Unlimited. The $29 fee covers the full event regardless of guest count.
Yes. Guests can join any time while the event is active. You can share the link in your group chat before the day, and also display the QR code at tables during the reception.
No. All bets are placed using virtual credits. WedWager is a prediction game played for fun and bragging rights — no money changes hands through the platform.
WedWager uses a real prediction market pricing model called LMSR (Logarithmic Market Scoring Rule). Odds shift in real time as guests buy positions — the more people bet on an outcome, the shorter the odds get, just like a real market.
Anything goes. WedWager comes with a library of pre-built templates covering ceremony, speeches, reception, and more. You can also write custom questions with any number of outcomes — not just yes/no.
Yes. Guests have a Suggest tab where they can propose their own questions. You'll see these in your admin dashboard and can accept or reject them.
You resolve each market whenever the real-world outcome is known — right after the first dance, once the speeches are done, etc. You can do it live during the event or wrap up at the end.
Go to app.wedwager.com/admin and enter your admin email and event code. No password required.
Yes. From your admin dashboard you can pause any open market (guests can no longer trade it) and reopen it at any time.
Yes. When creating your event, you choose the starting credit balance. The default is 1,000 credits.
